Steampunk Creations

How happy am I? Making steampunk cards is something I am hooked on to start with.  The opportunity to make them as samples is an added reason to create.

I have used embellishments from my dwindling stash. Now I've seen that the fabulous Bev at BeeCrafty has lots of the nom noms in her shop. Such variety and I'm sure you will agree that the prices are excellent value for money.

Please visit here to check them out.

Here are two more steampunk makes using Debbi Moore discs.  You may have seen them on facebook, however from tomorrow any you see will be new.

Please remember that the fabulous Carley Duff will be on Create and Craft this Monday at 4pm and 8pm with the Steampunk cd and the Alice in wonderland cd.

For more creations using the discs why not visit the other DT members blogs and Carley's. To make it easier you can click on their names below to visit.

The samples above have both had more added to them before sending off to the studio.  I have to thank my dear craft friend Trissie Rosenberg for providing the gorgeous angel wings.  For pictures from the shows don't forget to join Carley's crafty army on facebook.

Samples for Carley Duff's Create and Craft show

Looking forward to watching Carley on the two shows this coming Monday on Createandcraft.tv @ 4pm and  8pm.  The main items for the show will be by Debbi Moore Designs , her Steampunk cd and Alice cd. What an honour it was to get creating with those yummy's.

Here is one of the samples made using the Steampunk cd.  I will be posting more of the makes over the next few days.  I hope you like them and look forward to seeing your creations using the discs.

Don't forget to share them over at Carley's Crafty Army.

.

I had so much fun making the card above.  The colour choices were so scrummy I just had to get creating. I started off with some copper tone mirror card which went straight onto the 6x6 card.  The next layer was using turquoise card which was embossed with a metal type pattern.  Gilding was added on to high-light a few area's.With the image wearing an outfit with lace or cotton at the bottom, it gave me an excuse to use some lace down the side of the card, using a cog die as a slider/buckle. Some amber gems were added along with a steampunk butterfly.

I hope you pop on over to Carley's blog and leave some crafting love.

Samples for Carley Duff's USA Trimcraft show

Am happy to be assisting the Design Team with some samples for Carley's USA shows on createandcraft.com . Don't forget even if you are not in the USA you can still catch the shows via the website for fun and inspiration Carley style.
I got to play with some yummy 'Neroli' papers and made the following samples.....

I used the Neroli papers along with white card stock for a clean fresh look.  Some of the card was embossed with a similar paisley pattern.  The sentiment is a stamp from Bee Crafty and can be found here

Again using the Neroli papers and another sentiment stamp from Bee Crafty ( hey, I have an addiction).  The image is a digi that can be found here. The flower dies are by Sweet Dixie. The lattice type die behind the image is from Tattered lace .

Image is from one of Randi Dandi's aka Rick St Dennis, available here, again the frame behind is from Tattered Lace.

Loving the gorgeous vibrant tones, thought it would go well with a Dillybeans Digi this time.  the swirl dies and circles, flowers, leaves are all by the fabulous Sweet Dixie via Set Craft . I've found that Sweet Dixie are such quality and without a doubt such value for money.

Had great fun playing with some funky foam on this one. Yes, you've guessed, dies from Sweet Dixie.  The image is one of Sherri Baldy's.

Final make using another Randi Dandi image and Neroli papers.  The square  pin edged dies are from Sue Wilson Creative Expressions

I hope you get chance to see Carley on the shows or pop over to the crafty army on facebook.. Happy crafting xx

Venice theme

To tie-in with a current challenge over at the Julia Spiri blog I have used one of her new release images. To see her digi's please head over here.

The challenge is for monotone entries, so fingers crossed.  I chose sepia tones to go with the cream cardstock . The image through the lattice is also part of the fab digi.

I will be entering this into the following;

At last back blogging ....

It seem's like an eternity without having a laptop, but hey ho finally back.

Due to having limited access to the internet I stepped down from Rick St Dennis elite design team.  It wouldn't be fair to try and continue with just my trusty phone.  I must say I was honored to work with such talented people.

I'm still the sub commander in Carley's crafty army which I enjoy a great deal... putting the fun and sunshine into crafting.  Time to time I will be helping the design team by making samples, which I look forward to. Feel free to pop over and join Carley's crafty army.

Can't believe that I've only recently discovered Julia Spiri digi's... wow... here are a few makes using her amazing images, that can be found here.
