Just had to use the fantastic rustic dark brown/gold mirror card from Creata to set off the papers I used which were from a Christmas collection by cArt-us (which I found in my craft area), so it may not be their currant one. Stamped flowers and leaves onto the papers and cut out, wanted and inked effect rather than just die-cut ones this time. Added some small gems and the yummy clear dew drops. Metal flower is from Creata and I coloured a wooden bird to represent a Christmas robin x
As said above, it's another fab Sherri Baldy digi image, put on top of layered Creata paper and Theresa Collins. Metal flower is Creata as are the two fabric flowers, small acorn and seeds were taken from pot pourri ( nothing is safe with a crafter about) x
Went out of my comfort zone and tried something new. Wanted a bright and bold look without being too girly. If you haven't tried zentangle, give it a go... sooooo relaxing :). Wording is a Sheena Douglass stamp x
The Sherri Baldy digi's are just so versatile and addictive!! Again the word stamp is one of Sheena's. The flower stamps were a magazine freebie :) just added a tiny bit of detail to them.
Am now getting hooked to making matching gift bags with the cards. This was a quick and easy make using the fabulous Creata kraft card and their stunning line paper ( the quality of which allows you to even mould flowers) . Used stamp from my crafty stash and Spellbinder dies.
I used Creata kraft card and stamped using Stazon-timber brown, used a selection of stamps including Sheena Douglass
By the way the above Creata with Carley fb page is a friendly group for crafter's, feel free to join and if using at least one Creata product you can post your creations. There is also a fortnightly challenge blog where you can win blog candy :)
Had fun making this one, got all inky fingers! I wanted a card that would tie-in with one of James Rollins books and the perfect stamp set from Sheena Douglass was the ideal choice.
I layered some orange card onto some black, the card was stamped with a crackle mini stamp, ink splat and latin writing stamp (all from Sheena Douglass).
Again I layered black, orange, black card with the main image stamped onto the back of centura pearl card which was inked with Tim Holtz distress inks and a water brush was used to create the streaks of light. The monk image was a royalty free image.
Think I am going to have lots more mucky fun with the rest of Sheena's stamps now x
Sherri Baldy digi image, coloured in green tone pro-markers. Used Creata mirror card which was embossed with bird stencil., added die cuts done with Creata glitter card and paper roses to match colour tones used. :)
